These 13ft x 6ft murals are located in the Coxhall Children’s Garden in Carmel, Indiana. The curved walls mirror each other to create an echo effect as you walk through them. Commissioned by the Coxhall Guild and and the Master Gardens of Hamilton County the murals feature native pollinator flowers and trees that have been planted in the surrounding gardens and the insects and birds they attract. The butterfly mural includes coneflowers, wild bergamot, golden rod and milkweed. The bird mural includes wild bergamont, cardinal flower, and the mighty oak tree, known to support many species of birds and insects. Each mural features a child sized photo op area in the middle designed to surround the viewer with nature and remind them that they too are a part of nature.
